HOW CAN AN EMPLOYER PREVENT LOSSES WHEN PAYING FOR EMPLOYEE TRAINING?

When an employer pays for an employee’s training, the company may, for instance, make the employee sign a training agreement as a requirement before the training may begin. Accordingly, the cost of the training, or a portion of it, can be “clawed back” if the employee leaves the company. For instance, if a worker quits his job soon after receiving training, the employer may be able to recover the costs of the training from him. With time, the liability would decrease.

How does consulting add value?

The typical consultant works in more organizations and industries throughout the course of a career than people in other professions due to the nature of the consulting profession.

Resources from other professions are sometimes lacking in experience, expertise, and perspective; consultants offer these things.

When should I consider using a consultant?

Most of the time, outsourcing to a consultant or consulting firm makes financial sense if the job is outside of your primary area of expertise. Using consultants can speed up development, minimize expenses, and shorten execution time.

Additionally, you should think about using consultants for any project or initiative that needs specialized knowledge and experience, even if it is part of your core business offering.

DOES AN EMPLOYEE LEGALLY HAVE TO GET AN INCREASE IF THEY FINISH STUDYING?

No, there is no legislation that guarantees an increase. This is entirely at the discretion of management and must be agreed between the employee and the company.

What is the cost of training?

Every day, an employee learns something new or is shown how to complete a task. Are you certain that the correct instructions were given? Was the training accompanied by a comprehensive schedule with a predefined agenda? This is why formalized safety training exists. To be checked against legislation and best practices in the industry. Meeting and exceeding provincial and municipal laws. What does it cost to train; contact ADAPT Training & Consulting for more info.
